Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have chosen to support the Bosom Pals Appeal at Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation who's current project is to raise £500,000 to fund two new mobile screening trailers complete with full-field digital mammography machines.

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with an astonishing one in nine women diagnosed and occasionally some men too. It has affected the lives of members of my family, friends and many people I know.

My aim is to raise at least £1000 by shaving my hair off, to help such a fantastic local independent charity, in a bid to assist them in reaching their goal and allowing them to improve technology and in turn save more lives.

Please visit http://www.sh-cf.org/ for full details on the work this wonderful charity are doing.
