Story
I’m delighted to be supporting MHA in my presidential year. On Friday 22 June 2012 I’ll be walking a 17.5 mile section of the St Oswald’s Way, from Kirkwhelpington to Heavenfield. Some MHA staff and volunteers will be joining me, and if you’d like to join this happy band of pilgrims for all or part of our journey, please get in touch.
MHA supports for 15,000 older people throughout the UK, with an emphasis on supporting each individual to live a fulfilled and meaningful life. Extra services like chaplaincy in all their residential homes, and music therapy in at least 46 of their dementia care homes, make a real difference to quality of life for older people. Donations and fundraising activities are vital in helping MHA to provide these additional services, so please support me if you can – every pound we raise will help MHA improve the lives of older people.
