Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge · 14 June 2014

We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

For those of you that know me would know that a challenge like the Yorkshire Three Peaks is well out of my comfort zone....however I have decided to ditch the clothes, shoes and handbags that I love and and join a team of over 100 PageGroup employees and take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 14th June

It will be a tough 25 mile hike across Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, the three largest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales. It’s a hard-hitting challenge which involves lots of training to get round in one piece!

My chosen charity is Alzheimer’s Research UK. There are currently 820,000 people living with Dementia in the UK. By 2040 this figure will grow to 1,500,000. There is currently no cure and little funding.

This is a huge challenge and I need all of the motivation and encouragement going so please dig deep and donate now.
