I know for many years now I've always told people I don't run...for anything! But this year I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life.

I am running this race in memory of my loving mother who was all things to me, she was my confidante, my spiritual leader and most of all my best friend. Sadly cancer took her away in September 2014. My mother was an inspiration to all around her and during her illness she made sure that no one was sad and kept hope and faith to the very last minute. Her legacy will live on in me and all the people who knew her. She truly left a LEGACY OF PURPOSE and LOVE.

This race means a lot to me and the whole family as we have all been affected and touched by the disease and the money raised will help others win their fight against cancer.
