Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

To keep track of my progress visit my website at http://www.recipher.co.uk/.

3 April 2006 I'm now entered in the Great Scottish Run on the 7th of September.  It's a half marathon and should be an opportunity to get used to the marathon pace.

30 March 2006 I've now entered the Great Edinburgh Run on the 7th of May.  It's 10km and should be a bit of practice for the big event.  I won't be running fit by then though.  No matter.

Currently planning to do the 3 Peaks at the end of May, hopefully the Skye ridge sometime in the middle of June (weather permitting) and either the Lakes or the Wales 3000s (with my mate Iain) at the end of June.

22 March 2006 I recently discovered why I get leg pain when I run, and have taken steps to fix the problem (a collapsing arch in my right foot).  So, now that I should be able to run again - I finally committed to running a marathon.

Throughout the summer I have a number of events planned, leading up to my marathon - the Three Peaks, the Lakes 3000s, the Welsh 3000s, a new baby.  I'll keep everyone posted with my progress on this page.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ENABLE Scotland will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
