Well, this morning we (48 of us of ages ranging from 9 to 49) completed the run for Jemima Sellicks - as of this morning, we've raised nearly £3500 in total and it was just wonderful to see everyone out on this beautiful, crisp winter's morning, some gingerly nursing brutal hangovers, ready to run to support this little girl on the left. So thank you to everyone who ran, and to everyone who pledged and to everyone who sent lovely messages.
Also, thank you to families of the runners who all came out to cheer us on!
Watch this space for the next run/bike ride/surf contest/bungee jump/sky dive - whatever, trust me, i'll think of something fun....
- all those who’s raised money through their own justgiving pages, or through cheques, cash etc, could you please let me know, so I can tally it all up. (Sue Robinson, Natalie Clough, KT Peck..). Thanks!
(photos to follow…massive thanks to my big brother, Bweems, who sweetly braved the elements to capture the moment for Jemima)
All our money raised is going to Hope Against Cancer who are funding a fellowship to research ALL in Jemima's name. Please do take a moment to read more about it (to the left).
Jemima has set up a blog, where she records her daily fight with ALL, her link is:
