My name is Rachael and I am a Burketeer :)

I have hugely enjoyed fundraising with the group for Operation Smile UK for the past few months. The work that the charity does to help give smiles to children across the world is incredible. For just £150 and taking just 45 minutes a child can have their cleft lip/palates completely restored forever, and the ability to smile is a priceless gift. I am completely in awe of the surgeons and volunteers who do so much to bring more smiles in the world.

I have Tom Burke to thank for raising awareness of the fantastic work of Op Smile. I attended the Carols by Candlelight concert and the Burketeers have been fundraising ever since. 

I turn 30 on 18th November 2015 and 22nd April is exactly 30 weeks until that day. As well as inspiring me to fundraise, Tom has also inspired me to go to the theatre. A LOT. I'm very lucky to have the West End on my doorstep, and from being his fan I have read so many plays, learnt so much, I even attended an acting class at RADA! So my goal is to watch 30 different plays in 30 weeks, before I turn 30. Each time I attend I'll update the page. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
