Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last summer my Mum got Cancer. She had to go to Ninewells in Dundee every day for treatment and sometimes we went too. Most days it wasn't long and me and Cian (my wee brother) and Dad would play a car quiz game while we waited. Every Wednesday though we would just drop Mum off because she had to have chemo all day. Sometimes it was ok but sometimes it was really hard. Mum went to Maggie's lots and still goes now. It's a special place with special people. They helped me learn about Cancer and what was happening to my Mum in hospital. Me and Cian went to a kids day and even though other kids were meant to be there it ended up just the two of us. The Clown Doctors were brilliant fun and we made up an amazing story with illustrations and made some really cool magic stones. I decided to raise money by cycling from Stirling Castle to Maggie's in Dundee so that they can keep helping other people with Cancer and their families. I think everyone must feel scared about Cancer. Some people might feel scared about going to Maggie's for the first time because they don't know anyone and don't know what it's like there. If they have a little bit of courage to go, the people at Maggie's will help them be brave about Cancer. Thank you for reading my story. I'm doing my cycle on June 20th 2015. I will update my page regularly. Quinn
