Story

We did it!  But we still need your help.

We're back and recovering.

Following on from last year's successful Land's End - John O'Groats challenge, this time we did the Three Peaks Challenge - but cycling between each one!

That's right - we're climbed (on foot!) the three highest mountains in Britain - Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, and saddled up to ride between each one.  All in 48 hours of pain.

You can see how we did it (and remind yourself of our efforts last year) by checking our team blog

We've done our bit - can you donate some cash to make the pain worthwhile?

It's all in aid of a good cause - Age Concern & Help the Aged do great work in making life easier for older people.  The funds we raise will help them to continue this work.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Age Concern England gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Age UK is the new force combining Age Concern and Help the Aged We believe that age needs respect. It needs kindness. Sometimes it needs help. Too many people experience difficulties as they age. We cannot promise everyone good health, but we will fight for good care for all of us. Where we find loneliness, we will reach out. When age becomes a burden, we will try to lighten the load. Age UK will campaign. We will fundraise. We will research. We will make the powers that be listen. We will do all this to make life better for older people here and abroad. Age UK is for all of us, because age is a part of life.
