From the 10th February to 15th February we are having a week of celebrations and silliness for the shelter's 141st birthday on the 14th. In aid of this, as it is purple week, it only seems right that the staff dye their hair purple!!

Anna Paint + Helen Holmes ( our 2 more 'mature' members of staff) along with Sheryl Carre + Lucy Ogier have decided to make this our own mission impossible. Our manager Steve Byrne has said we could make our faces purple but we think he may be taking it too far!

We are doing this to raise much needed funds for the GSPCA. Anything that is donated will go towards feeding our ever hungry, growing seals and also towards the cattery re build because lets be honest the old cattery won't stay standing much longer and the poor kitties need somewhere to live! Any little helps as apart from these two important things we have up to 300+ animals on site at any given time who need to be fed etc!
