It's my aim to spread the princess love and support a different M.E charity each year. This year I have decided to support Action for M.E because they are local to me (based just down the road in Keynsham) and their booklets on pacing, and advice for employees and employers of people with M.E were pretty much the only support I received in the first couple of years of my illness. It is vital that sufferers get the correct information as early as possible in order to maximise their chance of recovery. Action for M.E also fund research, support sufferers and their carers, and fight for better awareness and treatment of this much-misunderstood illness.
Those of you that know me well may realise I'm not really a princessy kind of girl so this year I am thinking outside the box for my Princess inspiration. You'll have to wait until 12th May to find out who I'm dressing as this time. There are clues in my photo gallery with more to be revealed depending on how much I raise.
As well as raising money for much needed research and better awareness of M.E, this year Team Princess are paying tribute to the best princess of all, Princess Allan Dickinson who sadly passed away last year. In honour of Allan, team members will be sporting something pink as part of our costumes.
