Hey everyone,

so on December 11th at the Komedia in Brighton,there's an event happening called the Brighton Poem-a-thon. Fifty poets and readers are getting together to raise money for the Refugee Council and the School Bus Project.

We are here to support the thousands of individuals forced to abandon their homes to escape war, violence and oppression. Poem-a-thon is a day in which poetry steps up to support refugees and asylum seekers!

Now, I'm no poet. I've never performed in front of an audience or recited my work on stage  - except in wine fueled poetry nights in a friend's living room. However the moment has come to get those words OUT. Any support would be amazing, any kind of donation would obviously make a huge difference, and of course it would be great to see you there!
