Due to the devastating numbers of people who are diagnosed with breast cancer, many people have been effected by the disease in one way or another. One such person is Paul Mount who lost his sister in 2002 to the disease-she was just 39 years old.
Having seen first hand the effects that this terrible disease can have on sufferers and their families, Paul has decided to set up the Pink Ribbon Snooker Tournament in order to raise much needed funds for breast cancer charities. Through his work with the Pink Ribbon, Paul hopes to not only raise funds but also to raise awareness, something that could improve the survival rate of those diagnosed.
Since the tournament started, we have had many people approach to request information on how they can donate money to Breast Cancer charities. We therefore decided to set up this page for those of you wishing to donate.
If you are able to donate then a huge thank you to on behalf of the whole Pink Ribbon team. If you are not able to donate then you can still support the cause by ensuring that everyone you care about are aware of the warning signs and check themselves regularly.
Thank you to each and everyone of you for visiting this page and reading the reasons behind our tournament.
Regards
Pink Ribbon Team
