Well it's gone now and the hat is back on. I'll add more of the photos taken once i get them onto my home PC.

Well it's been just over 4 years since my last hair cut so it's about time i had another one and thought i would try to raise some more money for Cancerbackup who In 2008 merged with Macmillan Cancer Support. 

For those who don't know i shaved my head Feb 11th 2006 after having long hair since the mid/late 80's. Removed 86cm of hair then and raised £2,312.00 I did this after both my sister and father were diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully both are very well now but not everyone is as fortunate. Cancerbackup were very helpful to our whole family and to my friends and their families while going through cancer treatment and recovery so this is my little way of helping them back.

After 4 years of no hair cuts my hair is past half way down my back (~60cm) and by the time of the shave i'll have a 4 month beard for some added comedy photo opportunities. I plan to do the deed on Friday 2nd April as my Sister and 2 nieces are over here from NY. The removed hair will be getting sent to Little Princess Trust to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

Well i'm hoping we don't have any late winter weather and I don't have to wear a hat indoors again.
