Story

I'm 86 years of age. I run for the british Heart Foundation. I had a treble bypass operation 25 years ago, which saved my life. Thanks to the doctors and staff at the Western Infirmory Glasgow cardiograph unit, they did a great job on me.  I had angina for 10 years before the operation. When I woke up in the intensive care ward, I could not believe it. I could not feel my breathing, it was great, closed my eyes went to sleep contented. From that day to this day I have had perfect health.  I run for the BHF hoping other people will get the same results as I have had. That is my story. Is it good? This is 2 photos during the 2011 Great North Run, me playing the spoons.
