Fundraising for Breast Cancer Now
Hello everyone!
Thanks for visiting this page and THANK YOU for all the donations!
Three Engineers and a Mathematician of Durham University have cycled 1568 miles from Durham, St.Johns College, to the historic medieval city of Krakow in the south of Poland.
On August 26th 2007 I lost my mother to breast cancer that spread to her liver and left her fighting her last days in excruciating pain. The impact it had on my life and those nearest to her, family and friends, are still fresh in the memory. This cycle ride is seen as a two fold opportunity. Primarily to raise as much money for the chosen charity 'Breast Cancer Campaign,' and remembering, personally, a very special person.
A massive thanks goes out to Ollie Hooper who was the first person I spoke to about this idea and has allowed me to make it a reality. Daniel Gilbert who without his zeal, wonderful humour and continual dedication those early morning cycle rides may be seen as a little more of a chore. Joe Stonham who is a true cycling legend and brings the expertise to us three novices.
Please help us smash our target even further and aid a cause with a vision to not only eradicate, but provide the means for sufferers to overcome this ruinous disease.
