Thanks to those kind people for sponsoring. Training has already started for some of the team with snow underfoot in Perthshire! Long way to go but hard work will see us through.

Thanks for taking the time to our JustGiving page.
On Sunday 14th July, East Stirlingshire Football Club Chairman Tony Ford and ex-player Alan Miller along with friends and supporters will attempt to scale the UK's highest mountain Ben Nevis. This feat takes on an added challenge for both Alan and Tony as both suffer from the frustrating condition of Parkinson's an incurable illness and the task is by no means easy for them. Friends supporting the duo include Alan's brother Brian, himself another ex-Shire footballer, Rotary Club of Bridge of Allan & Dunblane members Graham Russell, Eddie Campbell, Forth Valley Young Parkinson's Support Group, Parkinson's UK Stirling Branch and many others.
The aim is to raise as much money as possible for Parkinson's UK and other charities close to the hearts of the other climbers. If you would like to join us on the day feel free! Simply email Tony on aford442@aol.com for details and a sponsor form. You can use this page to donate to Parkinson's or if you wish to collect for your own good cause feel free.
Updates and a full list of climbers will be posted here!
Thanks everyone for the support, its appreciated.
