We offer professional veterinary services to pets and owners in need across the UK

Story

Every pet deserves to lead a happy and healthy life. As the UK's leading veterinary charity with 48 Pet Hospitals, we improve pets lives through prevention, education and treatment.Every year our dedicated veterinary teams carry out 2.7 million treatments on 470,000 pets in need - all made possible thanks to people like you.

We are all part of the Pet Hospital team here at PDSA Middlesbrough and every year we look to take on a personal challenge to raise funds on behalf of PDSA to continue to provide healthcare for our pets and help increase awareness across the UK and in our local community.

We are all taking part in a Skydive on October 19th 2019, to 'Jump for Max' 🐶 Max was a wonderful German Shepherd Dog who visited one of our local Pet Check Education events in 2014, Max was directed to the Middlesbrough Pet Hospital by one of our Pet Hospital Veterinary Nurses for follow up care and treatment for a testicular abnormality.

Max recovered well and continued to be a faithful companion to his owner as well as being a much loved family pet for a number of years after his treatment. Max returned to the Pet Check vehicle every year and his owners became great friends and supporters of PDSA Middlesbrough. Sadly Max passed away in 2018 although his owners still continue to raise funds in memory of Max every and anyway they can.

As such Max's owners asked if any of the Middlesbrough Pet Hospital team would be willing to take part in a Skydive in memory of Max to raise funds for PDSA, so this year the Skydive became our team fundraising event for 2019 and six of us will be realising that the 'Sky's the Limit' or at least 10,000ft of it will be....

So be it a personal goal, that something some of us may have always wanted to do, or simply fundraising for PDSA, doing this along side our PDSA supporters in memory of their much loved pet Max, makes us feel even more proud as well a slightly terrified 😮 so.........please help us reach our £4000 target which will allow us to raise vital funds to help treat more pets now and in the future.

With huge thanks for your kind support from all the team here at PDSA Middlesbrough, in particular all of us 'jumping out of a plane' please dig deep to help PDSA, if we could raise £1 for every foot of the 10,000 ft we will be falling that would smash our target and simply be amazing 😀.

Finally please share our page with everyone you know and remember if you are a taxpayer PLEASE GIFT AID YOUR DONATION.
