Story

Hello! Linda Bicker, Steve Abbotts, Rebecca Fleming, Jacqui Somerville, Jey Williams and Mark Havard are the Payroll Plodders team and we are taking part in the 2016 Capita Step Challenge. The challenge runs from Monday 18th January to Friday 12th February.

The Capita Step Challenge is a virtual walk across the Prince’s Trust centres in order to raise money.

The virtual walk begins in Southampton and will visit the neighbouring Prince's Trust centres across the UK. The virtual route is approximately 881 miles, which roughly equates to just over 10,000 steps per team member per day. The challenge will pass through centres in England, Wales and Northern Ireland finishing at their northern most centre in Dundee, Scotland.

All money will be going to Capita's charity partner, The Prince's Trust.

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.
