The PDSA saved my dog's life once - Danny, already on his last legs, needed help but my parents couldn't pay the vet fees. The PDSA fixed him up and he survived for another year or so. A small donation went a long, long way. Therefore, by way of saying 'thanks' and to ensure they can continue to repair our pets etc, I'm going to cycle a long, long way to raise some money for them. 

Please note - the last time I cycled any serious distance was 8 years ago and that was 10 miles. In 2 hours. OK, it was snowing....

Hopefully it won't be snowing when me and a couple of others touch down on the idyllic island of Barra and begin our 180 mile ride to the Isle of Lewis, the Butt to be precise. *Harris & Lewis have just been voted Best Islands in Europe by a Trip Advisor survey - at least it should be a beautiful 180 miles!
