Story

Paul Freedman is 89 and he was the oldest participant in the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 13th April 2014!

Paul has now run the marathon 17 times to help Saint Francis Hospice and our nurses looked after his wife Reeny at home before she died from cancer in 2007.

Paul, who was an Olympic torchbearer in 2012 said that he was pleased to complete the marathon in under 8 hours last year.

To date Paul has raised more than £90,000 for Saint Francis Hospice.
