Story

Welcome to my online sponsorship page. My name is Paul Buckle (28), and I have recently been diagnosed as having bi-polar.

This page was originally setup for to do ride the 2008 Etape Du Tour, but because of my recent diagnosis and spell in hospital, I ran out of time to prepare myself mentally and physically.

So, I'm relaunching, and going for a 100 mile sportive in Wales in mid August instead. This is as much, if not, more of a challenge as the Etape was for me when I first had the idea last year. Having only been out of hospital a month, and still stuck in a depressive rut, it sometimes takes me all day just to get out of bed. I will be training as often and as much as I can physcially and mentally to prepare myself for the event.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and please keep popping back for updates. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Pasque Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
