On April 25th 2010, I ran the Virgin London Marathon in 4 hours 59 minutes and 03 seconds! It was a fantastic day, with amazing cheerleaders and huge amounts of support. There is still time to donate so please, please dig deep and help us reach the final target!

Firstly, thanks so much for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page. Please visit http://paulvmckeating.blogspot.com/ to read more.
I am running in memory of my Dad, who was a great sportsman and who I hope I make proud by running the 26 miles. After a long and difficult battle, he received invaluable palliative care towards the end of his life and for that I will always be grateful.
Please donate to a really great charity, your £££s so far have helped us through the final few weeks of training and eventually over the finish line! We are running for Help The Hospices, who do a fantastic job in providing crucial support for hospice and palliative care professionals as they care for people facing the end of life.
Hospice care aims to improve the lives of people whose illness may not be curable. It helps people to live as actively as possible after diagnosis to the end of their lives, however long that may be. The highest value is put on respect and choice.
Hospices not only take care of people's physical needs, they consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too. And they support families and close friends, both during the illness and in bereavement. Help the Hospices are an amazing charity, and one very dear to me and many others.
Please, dig deep!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Thank you so much! Your donations really mean a lot and made us run that extra mile!
