This bike ride London to Birmingham (around 120 miles) will be not be easy for me but I want to complete this to raise awareness of the plight of the children in Gaza who are still denied all their basic needs as well as their freedom.

Successive Israeli military assaults have killed thousands and left the entire popluation of Gaza traumatized.  The UN estimates 300,000 children in Gaza show signs of severe psychological distress.  Gaza is one of the most densely populated places in the world and there are few places for children to play.  For the last 10 years the Gaza strip has been besieged by Israel by land, sea and air.  1.8 million Palestinians are trapped, with Israel restricting all movement of goods and people in and out of Gaza, similar to the Ghettos of WW2.  Palestine has never been at war with Israel but has been subject to an illegal occupation by Israel for over 60 years and the land grab has been increasing daily with more and more homes and land belonging to palestinians being taken by Israeli settlers.
