I lost my dear friend Hosie to septicemia on the 1st of March 2010.  It was a total shock and it happened so suddenly.  Hosie was a brilliant man,  a successful husband, father and Neuroscientist.  He had his whole life ahead of him and it was tragically cut short.  

Meningitis Research promotes awareness of both Meningitis and septicemia as well as funding research.  Early diagnosis and treatment is vital and saves lives.  Early symptoms can include: Fever, headache, vomiting, muscle pain and fever with cold hands and feet. Someone with meningitis or septicemia can get a lot worse very quickly.
