<p>I'm not shaving for Lent. That is, I'm growing a wild, untamed beard, which I won't interfere with in any way until Easter Sunday, 24th April, at which point, at Eastercon, I'll get rid. The aim of the exercise is to get you good people to sponsor me, to the tune of £1000, going towards Shelter, the UK charity that helps the homeless. Any fun comments you post here I'll repost on my blog, and if you want to promote anything like that, as long as you give a reasonable sum and it's a reasonable thing to promote, I'll repost that too.
