Story

For those who donated a big thank you .

Anyone wishing to donate the just giving page will remain open for a few more days.

I can't believe I have actually abseiled off the Rail Bridge - a 165 feet drop - my friend Lesley was with me and kept me calm but I was quite calm - the only time I was nervous was going under the barrier and holding the rope.   But climbing assistant was so professional and knew what she was doing it was OK.    I was in control of my descent speed and I thought - well I'm getting down to terra firma as soon as possible.  My family and friends say I came down very quickly - it was better than I thought and maybe I could do it again.    I did it for our new hall in the village which is very important to me - for the children to have a good place to learn and have fun -  and I thank all of you who sponsored me.   We will be able to go for planning now with the money raised by our group so THANK YOU SO MUCH.   I'm very very grateful.    Well done too to all who were on our team.

Pam
