The West Midlands Raffle 2023 will raise vital funds to help local cats and kittens. The tickets you buy today will help make sure that we can continue our work in the community. The proceeds from this raffle will be divided between South Birmingham Cats Protection Branch, Halesowen & District Cats Protection Branch and Stourbridge, Dudley & Wyre Forest Cats Protection branch.

Raffle ticket online sales close on 22 November 2023.

Tickets are also available from South Birmingham Branch, Halesowen & District Branch, Stourbridge, Dudley & Wyre Forest branch. Tickets will also be available to buy at the West Midlands Firewalk event at Rowheath Pavilion, Bournville on 24 November.

The Cats Protection West Midlands Raffle will be drawn on 24 November at 20:30 at the West Midlands Firewalk event at Rowheath Pavilion, Bournville.

Simply make a donation of £1 per ticket or £10 for ten tickets and JustGiving will direct the funds to the charity. We will then enter your name and ticket/tickets numbers into our Raffle Draw automatically; if you require a digital ticket, please let us know. You will receive an email if you are a winner.

Tickets cost £1 each. Every £1 donation = 1 entry

You can also purchase five tickets for £5. Every £10 donation = 10 entries

Terms and conditions

1. The draw will take place at Rowheath Pavilion, Heath Road, Bournville, Birmingham B30 1HH on 24 November 2023 at 20:30. All funds raised will go to Cats Protection. Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).

2. Promoter: Lee Derrick, Cats Protection, National Cat Centre, Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath, RH17 7TT

3. The raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005 with Wealden District Council, Shared Environmental Health Service, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX.

4. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

5. The cost of each ticket is £1.

6. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets and is in breach of HMRC regulations. Any ticket purchases with Gift Aid added will be cancelled and refunded.

7. Tickets are not to be sold to or by any person under the age of 18 years old. If you suspect someone may be under the age of 18, then you should request proof of age. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.

8. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.

9. Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.

10. Any money received after the arbitrary/closing date (22 November 2023) including late entries will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable or eligible for the draw.

11. Winners will be notified via email within three weeks of the draw. A list of winners will also be published on:

12. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

13. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 21 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

14. No responsibility is taken for raffle tickets and payment lost or delayed or tickets damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Please keep your ticket number as proof of purchase. If tickets are purchased via JustGiving then you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address. Any payments received where this box isn't ticked will be treated as general donations because we have no way of contacting you. No responsibility is taken if raffle numbers are sent using an email and not received.

15. Participants purchasing tickets using JustGiving subject to terms and conditions will receive emailed ticket numbers within 48 hours.

16. The deadline for entries on the JustGiving site is 22 November 2023. This is 48 hours prior to the closing date/ time to allow time for the entry to be processed.

17. Cats Protection reserves the right to use the winner’s name and town for promotional purposes.

18. Donations made not in equal pounds will be rounded down to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle ticket entries. Eg if you donate £2.80 you will only receive two entries into the draw with the remainder being treated as a donation.

19. Cats Protection respects, and is committed to protecting, your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle unless you give permission otherwise.
