Fundraising for North East Autism Society
Team Sage (Employees of Sage and Sage's Partners) will once again be embarking on a hiking challenge to raise as much money as we can for worthwhile causes.
This year we will be taking on the Allendale Challenge, 26 miles in Northumberland over various different terrains with an elevation of over 1300m, so not for the unadventurous!
One of the worthwhile causes we will be raising money for is North East Autistic Society (NEAS) who is one of Sage's valued customers for Sage People, Sage People Payroll and Intacct.
Founded in 1980 by a group of parents who came together to establish Thornhill Park School in Sunderland, the North East Autism Society grew out of a desire to provide a better standard of education for autistic children. Having remortgaged their homes to purchase the building, our founders were dedicated to helping autistic young people fulfil their potential - and that commitment remains at the heart of everything we do.
The fantastic work they do is now right across the North East, with 53 sites, Over 6000 autistic people and their families supported and over 1200 dedicated staff working in education and care.
This is such a fantastic cause, and we are pleased that we can help in anyway possible.
