This time last year, my dearest friend Margaret had been diagnosed with cancer and sadly, as it turned out, did not have much time left. She spent her last weeks at Havens Hospice who did a wonderful job not only supporting and looking after Margaret but her family too. Havens Hospice provide such an important facility for our community but this all costs money and so I am going to jump out of a plane to try and raise some cash for the hospice. As it happens, it will take place on the anniversary of Margaret's passing and so I will be thinking of her as I jump and probably swearing at her too!. If you know me at all, you might think that I'm not easily scared. That's true but I'm going to let you into a secret....I don't like heights and am likely to be shaking in my shoes on September 9th!. Still I'm going to 'feel the fear and do it anyway' and if you want to encourage me while supporting this so very worthwhile cause, please donate even just £1.
