We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

In the early hours of Sunday 30th of April some of the team at The Old Rectory Nursing Home will undertake a sunrise Snowdon walk in memory of Kasia, who was just 30 years old when she sadly passed. She was a beloved colleague and friend to us all and she will be dearly missed. Our chosen charity is Papyrus which is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK.

We would appreciate any donations made in memory of Kasia.

Thank you.
