Having been given the honour of being the Mayor of my local town is incredible. One of the perks is I get to raise money for organisations that mean something to me. Blind Veterans UK not only do incredible work but were instrumental in rebuilding my life after losing my sight while serving my country. I’m hoping to raise to give back and help support other people who served our nation that are now battling against the challenges of sight loss.
