Fundraising for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People
Story
Swannington CofE Primary School and Viscount Beaumont's Primary School, along with many other schools in Rise Multi Academy Trust, will be taking part in one of the region’s biggest collective Santa Fun Runs as they aim to run the distance from Leicestershire to Lapland to raise money for Rainbows.
Collectively it is hoped that over 1400 pupils and hundreds of staff, will run over 2,200 miles around sports fields, school halls and play areas to cumulatively run the distance it would take to reach Santa in Lapland!
Pupils and staff from the schools will be completing their Santa Fun Run on Thursday 1st December. It would be amazing if you would like to sponsor our schools to raise vital funds for Rainbows, every penny counts!
