This year, as the cost of living crisis continues to take its toll, we at Cats Protection have seen a heart breaking trend: the number of cats being abandoned has risen by over 30%. We understand that tough times often force tough decisions, but abandoning a beloved pet should never have to be one of them. That’s why, more than ever, our commitment is to support every cat and every owner who turns to us for help.

This holiday season, we’ll be sharing the stories of 23 cats whose lives we’ve touched over the past year. Each of these stories reflects the transformative difference we make in the lives of both abandoned cats and those needed to be given up by their owners for various reasons. Our team work hard to find loving new homes, caring for the cats on site and offering advice and resources to families in need.
