The Challenge:

This May I'll be walking 1000km in just 4 weeks across Spain and Portugal to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians. The route, known as the Via de la Plata (or Silver Way), is the longest variation of the ancient Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, and will involve walking the equivalent of a marathon every day for almost 30 straight days.

The Cause:

MAP are among the last medical aid organisations left providing desperately needed emergency healthcare to the people of Gaza, who are not only being killed indiscriminately by Israeli government forces but are now also facing widespread famine. All of this is occurring in an environment where the facilities to provide basic medical care and treatment have been almost entirely reduced to rubble. Doctors are risking their lives in Gaza to try and save as many as they can, and several have been killed doing just that.
