We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

2025 marks the devastating 10-year anniversary for two Refresco UK head office colleagues - Penny and Wayne Church - who lost their beautiful son Finlay to a GBM brain tumour when he was just 11 years old.

This year, Fin should have been turning 21 years old and Refresco have decided to make March - Brain Tumour Awareness Month - a “Moment that Matters” in tribute to Finlay's short yet impactful life. Refresco want to raise awareness and funds to support families as well as contribute to research dedicated to combating GBM brain tumours.

Your support and generosity would mean the world to the family and the charity. If you would like to contribute to Refresco’s fundraising efforts in any way, we would be incredibly grateful. Your kindness will help keep Finlay's spirit alive and make a meaningful difference in the fight against this devastating disease.

Thank you so very much.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
