Blades crew, which includes Paul, Zach, Matt, Boddy, Ross and Rob, are participating in The Great River Race, a sporting event on September 21, 2024, rowing 21.6 miles on the Thames to raise funds for the Torbay and South Devon NHS Charity. Our target amount is £3000 for the Ricky Grant Day Centre. This is particularly pertinent to Paul one of the Blades crew who has been living with cancer for a number of years and is currently receiving treatment at the Unit.

The Ricky Grant Day Centre is an oncology day centre at Torbay Hospital providing chemotherapy and associated treatments, plus education and advice for those living with cancer. Donations and funds raised for the Unit make such a difference to the care provided to patients. Your support will help us make a meaningful impact on the lives of cancer patients.
