As 2024 Chesfield Downs Golf & Country Club Ladies' Captain, I am delighted to be fundraising for the Forget-me-Not Service at East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity!

The charity provides companionship, comfort and support for people living with dementia who are one of 1600 people admitted to Lister Hospital each year. It makes their stay "dementia-friendly" by providing:

specialist camp beds so loved ones can stay overnight

reminiscence rooms designed in a homely, familiar style to provide comfort and encourage socialising

access to a range of activities to alleviate boredom and promote social interaction

They will also support their loved ones and signpost them to further support if needed.
