Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving fundraising page. Having walked the Two Moors Way solo in 2019 (117 miles in 6 days) and the Beacons Way solo in 2021 (100 miles in 6 days), I am now aiming to achieve my biggest challenge to date of walking Offa's Dyke National Trail solo in August 2023 (177 miles in 8 days). Starting at Prestatyn in North Wales, passing through 8 different counties and crossing the English-Welsh border over 20 times, I hope to finish at Chepstow on Friday 18th August.
On both previous treks I raised money for Prostate Cancer UK, and I will again be supporting this important charity. We must all know someone who has had prostate cancer - it is a disease that is easily nullified through early detection and treatment, but sadly many men still die from the disease. By undertaking this trek I aim to raise much -needed funds for crucial research so I hope you will support me in this venture, either by sponsoring me online or simply by sharing my adventure with family and friends.
Remember that donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure, and that all monies go directly to Prostate Cancer UK. I am grateful to my wife Maz, my family and friends for supporting me in this endeavour.
