Story
Newdale Primary School will be taking part in a fundraising event to Climb Against Cancer.
On Tuesday 25th June, our very youngest pupils in Nursery and Reception will be taking part in a sponsored walk along a specially planned route around the school grounds. They will use our forest school, the sports pitches and the play areas. Even more exciting is that this event will be filmed by BBC Radio Shropshire – photos, filming and interviews from this event may even make it onto Midlands Today!
On Wednesday 3rd July, the rest of the school community will be walking up the Wrekin. This will take place during the normal school day. Once at the top, we will form the shape of a heart to symbolise the love and support we all feel towards those affected by this illness.
All money raised will go directly to Macmillan and the invaluable work they do supporting families affected by cancer. We are raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support to help people with cancer in Telford.
Telford and Wrekin school catering have kindly agreed to support the event by providing lunch for the children at the top.
Please donate what you can, every donation counts!
Thank you for your support
