We are Rainbows Hospice, our mission is to support the children that need us most

Story

Hello!

I am Ben Bryans, the chairman of Manchester United Supporters Club Leicestershire and together with Kishan Patel (secretary), Andy Noble (head of travel) and Martin Skinner (committee member) are attempting an unorthodox way of attending a United home game.

So, the four of us are walking from Jubilee Square in Leicester to Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United Football Club. This will take place ahead of the last home game of the season vs Arsenal. We will be starting bright and early on Thursday 9th May.

We will be walking around 26 miles on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday, leaving a final 10 miles for the morning of the match. That's 88 miles in total over approximately 33 hours.

We have just started training and are building up the miles steadily. Its not just those 4 days its 3 months of miles and miles of walking to get us ready for the challenge ahead.

Rainbows Hospice is very close to our hearts and we really want to push and raise as much as possible for this amazing charity.
