Story
It's been 8 years since I ran a marathon. I said I'd never do it again, unless I got a London Marathon ballot place, thinking that was an empty promise that'd never happen after over a decade of annual rejections (12, I think)! However, this year I got a place, so here I am, back out of marathon retirement, and feeling very nervous as the day gets closer.
In 2016 (pic below, looking fresh faced!) I raised £1900 for MND Scotland in honour of my beloved Auntie Liz (also pictured below). She died not long after. Motor Neuron Disease (MND) is a horrendous, cruel, devastating disease, and MND Scotland need every penny anyone can spare in their joint bids to find a cure, and to support families of those suffering from the disease. They're the only Scottish charity doing this. I'm last minute as usual, but if you could spare anything at all it'll spur me on to get through the miles and it would be so appreciated.
Sponsoring me will help MND Scotland to provide practical, financial, and emotional support to people affected by MND.
Thank you!
