Story
Even with technology these days, we all love to receive a handwritten letter! (as long as it's not a bill)
I've been involved with this charity over the last 18 months I think. I saw Brian and Alison on breakfast television talking about meeting at a yoga retreat. On the last day, Alison farted and that surprisingly striked up a conversation! This then led to Brian opening up that he had cancer, and Alison telling him that she'd write letters to him so that he could read them whilst going through treatment.
From Me to You encourages us to write letters to people living with cancer - keeping people connected at a time when they feel most disconnected. They run a Donate A Letter campaign, sending anonymous letters to cancer patients in hospitals, and homes across the UK. Social isolation is often felt by cancer patients and something as simple as a letter can alleviate this.
£2 buys 2 stamps and an envelope
£6.96 buys a book of 2nd class stamps
£10 buys a letter-writing kit posted out to anyone requesting one
