Mum loved The Lakes, having visited most years since she was young. We, the extended family, spent many years staying in “The Big House” in Patterdale, we all love the area and surrounding mountains. Mum especially loved Ullswater and the walks around its shores.

We saw and met the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team on many occasions, thankfully not needing their services!

The Patterdale Team supports the emergency services by providing a rescue service for those in danger in the hills and valleys around Ullswater - https://www.mountainrescue.org.uk/

Mum supported many charities including the the Patterdale Team for many years and we wish to see that support continued.
