Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

I  had my tumour removed in 2005 and since ‘Wear a Hat Day’ was first launched in 2010 I have been fundraising for this cause. I moved to Islay in 2016 and Introduced the local community to Wear a Hat Day by hosting a coffee mornings, Raffles,  and, cake sales in the Lochindaal Hotel, (apart from the two ‘Covid’ years)
