Story

Lincolnshire is an incredible county that has some of the most wonderful wildlife sites in the UK, many of them managed or owned by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. I have set myself the challenge of cycling to all the LWT Reserves from my home east of Lincoln - there are about 100 and they are spread from the Humber to the Wash and from Stamford to Crowle - so quite a challenge for my not-so-young legs! As of May 1st I have visited 42 reserves and cycled over 750 miles visiting some wild and wonderful places, but have twice as many miles and reserves yet to go. You can see my progress on Instagram (@libbyjohn47) with a post for each of our fabulous reserves as I visit them. If you love nature as I do then please consider supporting the Trust to look after these special places and to invest in nature recovery across Lincolnshire. I am a Trustee of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
