Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

We only have one heart….Heart disease is the biggest killer in the world and often with no obvious signs until is too late. Prevention and research are critical to help reduce the heart related conditions and save countless lives.

My husband Matthew died suddenly from a heart attack at 46 due to undetected and asymptomatic coronary artery disease, my Dad lost his life at 64 due to complications from triple bypass surgery, suffering also from CAD, my other very close family members lost their battles due to various heart conditions too, now feels the right time to help British Heart Foundation to find ways and reduce number of people suffering. If this challenge can support this, provide hope, make awareness then let’s do this!

100km London to Brighton - the new challenge

Please do join me on this journey.

I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thank you!
