Story
This year will see me tackle the Great Manchester Run once again in support of St Ann's Hospice and the incredible work they do.
By now I'm sure you're all very aware of the incredible care they gave to my wonderful, brave mum and how they supported us as a family during that time. This year I'm running to say thank you to them for all they did then and also for continuing to support me even now.
Last year my grief journey took a huge backwards step, I can't say why but I know that it scared me and those around me. I am a huge advocate for grief not being a liner process but even I was shocked at just how far backwards I seemed to have gone. Not really knowing what else to do, I reached out to St Ann's Hospice for the third time and without missing a beat they got me back into counselling and back on the road to healing. I honestly cannot believe that they are still offering me such incredible support and I don't know where I would be without them.
I cannot thank them enough for all that they are still doing for me so I'm going to raise as much money as I can to help support them in the hope that it goes someway to show just how grateful I am.
Thank you so much for helping me support this incredible cause.
