In November 2022, Maldon & Tiptree Football Club lost one of it's own after Darren 'Dazza' Gibbons sadly lost his life in a tragic accident.

Now, the Jammers Fans Association are raising money for two charties, as part of a planned, charity walk. One of those charities is DEBRA, which is a national charity and patient support group for people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) also known as ‘Butterfly Skin’ which Dazza suffered with.

The charity walk will take place on Saturday 12 April and will get underway from the Jam Factory in Tiptree finishing at the Maldon Stadium on Park Drive, for approx. 12 miles.
