Jan's fundraiser for Brain Tumour Research

To mark my 70th birthday I am fundraising in loving memory of my son Jason who passed away in April 2023 from a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumour. He had two surgeries, radio and chemotherapy but it wasn't enough and my boy got his angel wings at just 41 years old.
Jason was a kind-hearted, clever, healthy, computer geek who loved animals and was devastated by the diagnosis. He battled memory, understanding and speech problems, partial loss of vision and total loss of use of his left arm and leg before finally deteriorating. He is sadly missed by all who knew him.
Whilst it's too late to help my Jason the brain tumor trust research is vital to ensure viable treatment options continue to be developed so that hopefully one day these horrible cancers can be successfully treated and survival rates can improve.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
